PRIOR to 1950? Well, for one thing, there were no computers to speak of. Electronics amounted to radio and the beginning of TV (tiny little eight-inch screens, black and white only, and a tendency for the picture to "roll" upwards or downwards).

But after 1950, some educational TV stations began to appear. Look into the history of public TV and PBS.

About the only other "distance learning" available before 1950 were "correspondence courses" by snail-mail (or just "mail" back then).

better go for CENTRAL UV , JNTU, you can get but just confirm from loging in on net by directly entering as your request on the UV name itself , you will get every information in detail...... dont go for UV in chennai and some other one other than the above mentioned couse ,,these are only recognised UV in india...... all the best

Irrespective of what others say, go for distance program only if you need the knowledge to use in your present work profile or to add another qualification to your title. Else go for regular program or even part-time.
