Nursing Technical School

Daniel Said:

LPN nursing license from a technical school?

We Answered:

Few universities or four year colleges offer the LPN since it is considered a non-academic technical program. Most LPN programs are conducted in community colleges or technical schools. As a result you will seldom be competing against people from universities or four year colleges. Typically, an LPN does not get a "degree". It is a certificate or diploma followed by licensing.
If your tech school has a good reputation in your area and you pass your licensing exam there should be no difference between the credential from a CC or a Tech school. Finding a job will depend more on you as an attractive, reliable job applicant with competent skills rather than the school.
