Getting a business degree pretty much guarantees a job upon graduation. People will always need someone to handle their finances because they are too busy "doing their job/running their business" to do it themselves.

You can go out on your own, or work for a company.

I think Economics and Business Studies is an excellent combination.

The study of psychology tends to cover the diagnosis and treatment of various mental disorders, as well as the biology of the brain and neuroscience, which won't be relevant. I think Psychology and Business studies would be the right combination of you were hoping to become an occupational psychologist, but not if you wnated to work on the business side of things.

Well in the US, I don't know about UK, Business courses overlap with a lot of Economics courses, since business requires a lot of economic thought. However, you should look into your university's course requirements for the Business major and see how well they correspond with the core Economics subjects.. If you want Gov't to hire you you should point out the courses in your resume and experience.

You have two "fluff courses," Art and Business Studies which may make your admissions a bit more difficult. The answer to your question will depend on the university's admission requirements for the program to which you are applying and your grades. Most likely subjects would be biology, chemistry, law, and business.
