I'd check the out the counrty forums at daveseslcafe it's always good to ask the folks who are already working in countries you're interested in.

A word of warning for North Americans, it's really very difficult to pick up a job working in Europe.

There are quite a lot of training centers you can study and teach at but getting work after that is hindered without an EU passport.

You could find a job without any specific qualification in one of the numerous private language schools: they are always looking for mother tongue teachers. I think they would prefer teachers with University Education, even if not a teaching degree. As for Public schools, no chance...they have stopped hiring and there are lists of people who passed the entry exam that are endless and would provide teachers until the end of the next millennium.
